Women’s Health

Hormones have many important effects on a woman’s health, they are essentially your  body’s chemical messengers and carry all sorts of important information from one organ  to another. Your endocrine glands produce the precise amount of each hormone needed  for various processes in your body, including reproductive processes, energy, metabolism function, sexual function, mood and so much more. With more than 50 different  hormones assisting the body with overall function and health, it’s important to support  them as best as we can.

Hormones depend on beneficial fats to help maintain a hormone balance and dietary  cholesterol to assist with the manufacturing of certain sex hormones such as  progesterone, oestrogen, and testosterone. Foods to focus on include fish, nuts and  seeds, chia seeds, flaxseed oil, olive oil, coconut oil, eggs and avocado.
